Avinya is an independent software studio. The name means innovation, new beginnings in Sanskrit — represented by the single orange zero-point that recurs, sparingly, across this site.
The idea is simple: fewer things, made carefully, owned end to end. Avinya builds and publishes its own products first — apps now on 600,000+ devices — and takes select client work alongside. The work spans cross-platform apps and Kotlin backends, built to last rather than to demo.

Senior Android Developer · Surat
I'm a senior Android developer based in Surat, India, with over five years building production apps in Kotlin.
By day I help modernize the apps behind Haat, an Israeli food-delivery platform, where I own around half of the major product work and rebuilt a legacy Java/XML stack into something maintainable — cutting crashes by roughly 90% in the process. Before that I spent a year freelancing for clients worldwide through Upwork, shipping everything from BLE device apps to medical-device prototypes and custom media players.
Avinya is the studio I founded to build software worth owning. RingFit, ViewTube, and a handful of smaller tools — products and client work delivered end to end, now in the hands of more than half a million people. Increasingly that means a single Kotlin codebase running everywhere: Android, iOS, desktop, and the backend behind it.
